Towards PNDC ensuring JET

In the context of the global push for a just transition and the 1.5°C temperature goal, experts emphasize that Bangladesh’s next NDC must be inclusive and community-driven, ensuring the voices of those most vulnerable—particularly youth, women, and marginalized communities—are meaningfully included. Although the Paris Agreement highlights participatory climate governance, civil society, youth, ethnic minorities, and grassroots groups are still largely excluded from NDC development and implementation—both globally and in Bangladesh. With this insight and to spark the discussion, Oxfam in Bangladesh and The Business Standard jointly organized a national dialogue titled: "𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗮 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲-𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗡𝗗𝗖: 𝗔𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗳𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻"
