Just Energy Transition

Oxfam held an Organizational Capacity Building Programme on Just Energy Transition, uniting staff, partners, NGOs, and INGOs to advance Bangladesh’s journey toward a fair and inclusive energy future on 6–7 January 2025. See glimpses from the event which consisted of lively interactive sessions where participants: •⁠ ⁠Deepened their grasp of justice principles, global debates, and Bangladesh’s role in the energy transition. •⁠ ⁠Explored UNFCCC/COP impacts on national policies and industrial decarbonization pathways. •⁠ ⁠Collaborated to analyze labour rights, social inclusion, and emerging tech challenges in sectoral transitions. Through these workshops and peer learning, we are helping to develop critical skills to drive evidence-based advocacy and strengthen networks for a just rights-centered renewable shift. #JustEnergyTransition
